Jesus Christ

The ultimate servant. There is a word in Irish, apparently, I thought it was something different. Bejesus. Sometimes this website scares the bejesus out of me. Plus, trying to be like Christ makes me wonder if one could be Jesus, and how Christlike one can be. I had a friend whom I miss very much, send me to prison for something I hadn’t done. I wish things were different, but some things will never be. In my time I studied a lot, and tried to be a humble servant of the living Christ. I’ve always loved the story of St. Christopher. Another humble servant in service of God and Jesus Christ. Carrying the Christ child across a river in which he would have drowned if not for divine intervention. I carry my friend with me sometimes, missing him dearly. I like to think that he was the inspiration for my search for God, and knowledge of him and his works, but I’m not sure that’s entirely true. I’ve looked for God a few times in my life, or at least dared to believe in myself, and the blessing that is love shared between friends and/or lovers. My friend and I don’t talk too much, anymore. It would be wonderful to see them again. I hope they still know God, or have found him if they haven’t. This person used to know me very well, and I tried to read their mind once. I think I might have done it too. They ended up telling me they loved me (as a friend), and I haven’t heard from them since, although there may have been a festival on that day. I remember a certain song, that makes me think of them, and carry this in my heart praying that God blessed me with the chance to know them again, for our hearts to meet and share memories of both the times we shared. Good and bad they make us who we are, and the love that friends share is a special gift from God, and to each other. I think they don’t like me very much anymore. They kind of vanished without a trace. God works in mysterious ways, and as long as we can meet again in heaven I pray that they will find the strength to make it through their trials, and maybe back to me one day. I wonder where on earth they went and what on earth been up to. Only time will tell if we ever get to meet again, like we did all this years ago.

I''ve seen George Best's photo and agree he's the Best thing to come out out of Ireland. I have not seen him play ball, though. 🥴
