Matt Baillie - Threads of Time.

This is my third visit to listen to Matt and his friends. Pure bliss.

A string quintet playing music by Dowland, Philip Glass, Wood Works, Hindergard Van Bingham, and Avto Part, seemlessly interwoven, like two lovers.

The venue was magnificent, like inside the soundbox of a violin. Perfect resonance.

Too rich to explain.

The venue itself, with its magnificent ambiance reminiscent of the inside of a violin's soundbox, provided the perfect setting for the music, offering impeccable resonance that undoubtedly enhanced the overall experience.

@Liacheng Aptly, expressed in quintessential English.

The expressive playing itself would far outride the tonal quality. So the venue itsel added little.

@SW-User Indeed, the expressive playing made quite an impact to the music. However, I don't believe that it can outweigh the tonal performance.
SW-User
@Liacheng please don’t mock. It was not a tonal performance. Unless you were there , shut up.

Here are two reviews :

‘The Glass and the Part pieces were incredibly moving’.

‘not only was the venue atmospheric and conductive to listening - but the playing was exemplary and the programme inspired’.

That sound really nice is it on youtube or somewhere u might refer me?

@jehova Sadly not. Matt lives near me. He went to the Menuhin school of music and brings talented musicians down to perform with him, in local churches with brilliant acoustics.
