@TheDeathOfOzymandiaz I used to be a Kenny Rogers Roaster 30 years ago, it was a competitor to KFC with wood rotisseried chicken on angle iron spits. We had country western playing on a loop, including this one, and every time is came on all of the line servers, it was cafeteria style, would stop what they were doing and line dance behind the counter. We had a young Lesbian couple that worked together at our location that started it as a joke, but it caught wind with all of the other franchises in the US and it was rumored that Kenny Rogers invited Brooks & Dunne to sing it live at one of his Los Angeles locations and them line dancing there, but it was never confirmed.
