I'm still confused about how vinyl records work. I know they're made with machines now, but I tried researching how the first vinyl records were made and I didn't really find a clear answer

@Axeroberts Well that's another thing that's mysterious about them. I've heard many people say the sound a vinyl record produces is much more complex and deeper than the sound of a digital recording and that vinyl records sound the best.. How is that possible being that a vinyl record is an analog device? It's crazy when you think about it

@dubkebab I found this video that describes it more, I guess it was wax tubes at first and by the time vinyl records became popular in the 30s is when the microphone and other machines were invented to make the vinyl records
