Is it normal to like Patty Smyth but not Bon Jovi?

Patty Smyth had a band called Scandal and Jon Bon Jovi was briefly involved. I like Scandal and I'm getting into Patty Smyth's solo music as well. I'm not a fan of Bon Jovi however. I'm not going to stop listening to Patty Smyth or her work with Scandal however.
