Should songs with questionable lyrics be banned?

Pinball wizard by The Who contains these lyrics
That deaf, dumb and blind kid
Sure plays a mean pinball
Or Junior's Farm by Paul McCartney
I was talking to an Eskimo
Said he was hoping for a fall of snow
After all Dr Seuss had his book banned for showing an Asian eating rice
I personally feel there was no intention of ill will

I would ask those doing such banning just whom they imagine they are feeling vicariously offended for, and if they asked them.

Anyone who knows The Who's rock opera, about what is now called "child abuse", will know whether "Tommy" the Pinball Wizard really is "blind, deaf or dumb" as the narrator in the song describes him, and why.

Further, they will also know that the last adjective is used in its proper meaning, not the American slang one for "foolish".
