Should songs with questionable lyrics be banned?

Pinball wizard by The Who contains these lyrics
That deaf, dumb and blind kid
Sure plays a mean pinball
Or Junior's Farm by Paul McCartney
I was talking to an Eskimo
Said he was hoping for a fall of snow
After all Dr Seuss had his book banned for showing an Asian eating rice
I personally feel there was no intention of ill will

Whenever I see/hear some argument somewhere and the word BAN is attached my first thought is always
Whom does it serve to ban this ?
The very idea that some person or body has the right let alone the power to ban anything creative is worrying.

Pastors and church leaders have often caught media coverage with their protests and placards decrying blasphemy or 'The end of civilization !' because of something they oppose.
Politicians are the most corruptible form of human life on the planet but watch them go if they think there's a vote in it.
