Band-Aid (Time to Change) - Poem by Me
I remember when you said you were broken,
did you remember when I said I was too?
you told me that you live out in the open,
I never once had an attitude
I go on and let you do your thing,
I sit back and continue living blind,
I go on and let you do your thing,
and leave my feelings behind
it's like dealing with a dirty band aid
that I need to change
I just keep hoping that some day, one day
healing won't feel strange
remember when you said "I had a problems"?
then I said "well I do, too."
remember when you said: "I need to solve them"?
then I said: "I do with mine, too"
I go on and let you do your thing,
now I'm being cut off, on the loose
should I just go along and do my own thing?
when we were tight like glue
it's like dealing with a dirty band aid
that I need to change
they never said that dealing would be easy
but healing just feels strange
you and I we live with regrets
you and I we live as ugly rejects
all this victim shit has started this mess
get our heads right and stop veering off to the left
it's like dealing with a dirty band aid
something that I should've changed
I just keep that hoping one day, some way
healing won't feel strange
did you remember when I said I was too?
you told me that you live out in the open,
I never once had an attitude
I go on and let you do your thing,
I sit back and continue living blind,
I go on and let you do your thing,
and leave my feelings behind
it's like dealing with a dirty band aid
that I need to change
I just keep hoping that some day, one day
healing won't feel strange
remember when you said "I had a problems"?

remember when you said: "I need to solve them"?
then I said: "I do with mine, too"
