I heard Gordon Lightfoot died.

The worst part is how they flipped on their position of anti establishment in their songs, to pro establishment in their feeble end. C i a patterns.

@checkoutanytime If you're 20 and not liberal, you don't have a heart. If you're 50 and not conservative, you don't have a brain.

They are classics as we are getting to be. Time marches on.
Canuckle · 56-60, M
@PoetryNEmotion I agree - we must continue to march on. Who’s your go to musician from the past? Who do you like to listen to regularly?
PoetryNEmotion · F
@Canuckle I have many. I listen to Motown. Folk. Southern Rock. Lots of music from the 60's and 70's. Too many to name individually. Spinners. CCR. Skynyrd. Lightfoot. Denver. Foreigner. Journey. Boston. I could go on and on and on. Music is a form of poetry to me. I cannot live without either.
Canuckle · 56-60, M
@PoetryNEmotion I agree music has a deep rooted place with me as well.

Right? It's so true! And though I realize we all age, it's a bit daunting :)
