Ontheroad My point is that you do not understand, which is not meant as a put down, not in any way.
Take sports fans for example...I've played football and baseball in my time, but in no way am I
moved by the game in a way that my time is spoken for every Sunday or during the playoffs, etc.
For me, music is a sign of a higher being, Perhaps you'd call it God, maybe not. But, like so many, I am able to perceive immense feelings and emotions based on sound---joy, sadness, elation, wonderment, even anger and aggression. Sometimes, I'm not even certain
what exactly I feel, but I pursue it often--that's why I listen to and create music.
When I'm in the studio or playing live, I get this feeling--that this is exactly what I should be doing. I do not get that feeling at any other time.
