Judith Durham, lead singer of The Seekers dies, aged 79

The Seekers - comprising Athol Guy, Bruce Woodley, Keith Potger and Judith Durham — moved to the UK in 1964, having formed in 1962.
Judith left the Seekers in 1968 to pursue a solo career.
The Seekers returned to Australia in 1967 and gave a free concert at the Myer Music Bowl in their home town - Melbourne. 200,000 people turned up.

Oh shame. My dad loved the Seekers one of my childhood sounds.

Only a few months ago I was playing them to my daughter (I forget the context that led to that). I remember she said "Boy that girl has a fantastic voice". I don't disagree RIP
