People hate on Kanye a lot & he's a wild card for sure

But on this song I just hear a father venting about how it feels to lose his kids through a divorce.

I can't stop listening to it I wish it was longer

Just the simple "Daddy's not gone, you see the light on. Daddy's at home." Is some heartfelt shit fr 🥺
I wanna be a dad but I can't imagine not having my kids.

yep reminds me of Flashing Lights, if you listen to the lyrics and look at the video he ended up marrying that type of woman killing his career exactly in the way shown, musicians often speak it into existence just like x sang abt dying before it happened, crazy

@SW-User Flashing Lights is one of my all time favorite Kanye songs along with Runaway. I think Runaway is my #1 because of how much it hit me. But interesting thing to point out. I actually just watched that video again weeks ago & barely noticed what he was really saying. It's deep. & I was a fan of X but I'm a fan of a lot of the rappers who all keep dying. There's one who got killed a few days ago who I listened to a lot too. Shits wild

@SW-User I actually have listened to the slowed version quite a bit 😅 I like songs like that so I look for them on purpose sometimes. Now I'm listening to it again now though so thanks 👌
But very true. It's the same as manifesting. You can manifest bad things a lot easier than the good things if you aren't careful. X's death was tough but expected. He was smart but he lived reckless & violent. He couldn't escape that
