People hate on Kanye a lot & he's a wild card for sure

But on this song I just hear a father venting about how it feels to lose his kids through a divorce.

I can't stop listening to it I wish it was longer

Just the simple "Daddy's not gone, you see the light on. Daddy's at home." Is some heartfelt shit fr 🥺
I wanna be a dad but I can't imagine not having my kids.

I would have empathy if I didnt see this as a way to continue to publicly abuse and shame his ex. I can't stand the Kardashians, and I never thought I'd have much empathy for them but what's happened to Kim has been outright scary.

@Starcrossed Narcissist behavior 🤷 he definitely needs to follow Pete's advice & stay on the meds 😬😅

@ChiefJustWalks having been victim of a couple, I cannot echo this loud enough. Meds save lives. Meds prevent trauma victims and PTSD.

@Starcrossed I would agree. I know a lot of people hate their meds & I know it can't be an easy life but it does help. At least it helps prevent the things that could be worse

One of the harder personal things I've had to admit to myself is that my life is better on meds. I'm lucky in that mine aside from permanently blurring my vision mine dont have bad side effects and the ones I'm on currently dont make me feel like 'not me'.

I can say my life has been permanently altered and parts of my personality shaped by the PTSD after someone who really should have been on meds that continuously hurt me for several years. It's taken a lot of work to get through that trauma. It's a boundary I will carry forward in my intrapersonal relationships. If someone I care for needs meds but are resistant in taking them, I may need and am emotionally prepared to step away from that person to protect myself.

@Starcrossed you're a stronger person for admitting that to yourself & finding peace with the life you live. I think most of the key to happiness isn't real happiness.. it's peace. There's a lot we have to sacrifice in order to get there & those sacrifices are different for all of us. I don't blame you at all for stepping out of anyone's life if you need to 🙏 I'd recommend anybody to do the same
