Who first listened to "Never Gonna Give you Up" and decided that this would be a good song with which to troll people?

You mean the Rick Astley hit? Who uses that to troll people? It's just another run-of-the-mill 80s song.
Bri89 · 31-35, M
@HairbrushDiva So, you've never heard of the concept of Rick-rolling?
HairbrushDiva · 31-35, F
@Bri89 Yes, but I don't know how it works. Is "Rick-rolling" rhyming slang for trolling?
Bri89 · 31-35, M
@HairbrushDiva Basically what happens is that someone will give you a link to something telling you it's something else, but once you click on it, it's the song.
HairbrushDiva · 31-35, F
@Bri89 That's not trolling, it's just messing around.
lisalynn · 46-50, F
@HairbrushDiva That's the definition of trolling.
HairbrushDiva · 31-35, F
@lisalynn No, it's not. Trolling is deliberately being offensive. That Rick Astley song may be cheesy but it's not offensive.
lisalynn · 46-50, F
@HairbrushDiva Yes, it is. No, it's not. It's not cheesy or offensive.
HairbrushDiva · 31-35, F
@lisalynn It is a bit cheesy. I've heard worse though.
