[c=800000]Tough quiz.
I might do ok on early 1970's, but not much after that era. [/c]

Never heard of any of those. Of course, I’m old. Sooooo.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@DragonBlue What where you doing in the 1980's ??? You would have been in your mid 30's then.. Did you listen to a radio or hear any songs during that time?
DragonBlue · 80-89, F
@Adstar I had a house cleaning business, no real time for listening to radio or anything. In the evening I was taking correspondence courses to get my GED. Then off to take evening courses for bookkeeping for small businesses. I was a very busy mama. Raising my own kids and then they started having kids in the early eighties. So weekends were spent at playgrounds or watching Strawberry Shortcake.
My musical education ended when the Beatles were popular. Oh…yeah…and Dr. Hook.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@DragonBlue My mother used to have the radio on in the kitchen all day long.. Turning it off at dinner time.. And she liked listening to the channel that played the older 1960's song.. So i remember all the beetles songs.. Dr hook was still popular in the 1970's and i listened to there songs also.. We had our own radio in our bed room and we listened to the more up to date stations as teens..

1981 Get away (Soft Cell) Marc Broussard? I'm not going to cheat by wiki, I think that's his name.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@uncalled4
Thanks. Marc Almond. Just looked. hah
[c=7700B2]Marc Almond[/c] ✅ Correct..

Quizz Complete 😊
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@Adstar I was a DJ(yes at 15) when that Soft Cell 12" came out. This was the end of 1981, and it was way before the 45s endless residence on the charts. I was sick to death of that song, along with Don't Stop Believin' and What I Like About You, which dates to 1980 if I'm not wrong, by 1982. So, it's water torture to hear them now.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@uncalled4 Too much of anything can lead to that problem.. 😁

1982 Put another dime in the jukebox, baby, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts (Joan)
1983 There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do (Toto)
1984 But girls they wanna have fun (Cyndi Lauper)
1985 Turn your back on mother nature (Tears For Fears)
