Do you like Bill Withers?

@BlueSkyKing That's pretty good for an obscure cover. I don't think I've heard of him before. They still play the Bill Withers version on Smooth, I've heard it more than once this year already.

@HairbrushDiva Jose James is well known in jazz circles and has a lot of original material. Seen him live a few times.

@BlueSkyKing He never gets played on the radio for me to hear.

@HairbrushDiva Guess it depends on the station. I first heard him on a free magazine cd and his track clearly stood out. "Smooth Jazz" has limitations.

@BlueSkyKing The station I have on is not "Smooth Jazz", it's just called "Smooth". They play various songs (mostly oldies) that are melodic and easy on the ear.
