Are Bongos easy to learn?

I don’t play anything. I drum on my desk. Are bongos easy to learn? Are people annoyed by the sound of bongo?

I suppose the basics are easy enough - probably easier than learning to play a drum-roll properly, for example - but practising in involuntary company may be socially inadvisable!

If you play bongos in the living Room when people are trying to watch TV then yes they will be annoyed lol but if you play bongos in a band or by yourself in the garage I think you'll be just fine and as far as instruments go is pretty easy compared to the others
