Do you know of any bands that have held the same broad cross generational appeal as Queen?

I do. I play in a Beatles tribute and we get all ages when we play the bigger outdoor places.

Queen is a harder band to do correctly, imo.

I've heard several younger generations listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin...
