@Laughman Could be. But what's with the "r" sound on the end of "asha"? They sing "Brimful of ashar on a 45" but they don't spell it "ashar", they spell it "asha". What's that all about? 🤔

@Crazychick I honestly think it's because it's easier to pronounce it that way. It's easier to say 'er' than 'a'. Have a go yourself :)

@Crazychick it could be due to accents as well. I'm Australian, so everything is 'a'. Straya, singa(singer), the list goes on.

@Laughman Well, there you are then. It's easy for you to pronounce words ending in "a".
