Was "The Jean Genie" the second David Bowie song to mention Major Tom (after "Space Oddity"), or was there another one in between?

Major Tom is only mentioned in Space Oddity and Ashes to Ashes in which Bowie finishes him off so that he (Bowie) can move on. In between came the starman Ziggy.
