Can anyone help me understand these lyrics?

I’m performing a cover song in front of a small crowd but I don’t understand some of the phrases in the song. Some of them because I simply don’t know what they mean, and some of them because I think they’re phrases from before my generation. Was wondering if someone could help me out. Here they are:

“Permanent scar”

Did you fall from a shooting star, one without a permanent scar

“???”

She checks out Mozart while she does tae-bo

idk if he’s saying Tae-Bo or if he’s saying the name of another classical composer like Mozart.

“Jane-told”

I’m afraid that she might think of me as a plain old Jane-told story ‘bout a man who was too afraid to fly so he never did land.

“Freeze-dried romance”

Can you imagine no first dance, freeze-dried romance

I know there are a lot of phrases there but I would really appreciate your help. Thanks.

she checks out mozart while she does tae bo is probably refering to her versatility she is not stuck on one thing taebo could some kinds of dance, the falling star is open to interpretation could be he is asking is she really perfect untouched , like i said its really open, as for plain jane it saounds like he thinks she may think of him as boring or unadventorous possible he had nt seen much done much ,i dont think there is a wrong answer , go with what you feel man, it will your interpretation wont it.
