@CheshireCatalyst I love Massive Attack, their song Voodoo in my blood is based off a horror movie and is done really well.

@GeniUs Yes and no. Obviously, Bon Jovi doesn't count but let's have a wide definition and have fun listening to some vids, not a philosophical debate about Indie purity.

@Burnley123 it's sad but really good. Though a lot of the songs hit a wee too close to home for me when it came out, so I maybe connected in a way not everyone has.

@Starcrossed I've only heard a couple of their poppy songs about ten years ago I think. I don't know much about them but I'll def check that out. The Manics influenced me a lot as a person.

@LvChris I've just got to the point where I don't care. On the other thread: I posted a song by a band called The Midnight who do 80s nostalgia synth-pop for hipsters. Its what I want and I'm just not ideological anymore. Sell me the cheap thrills cloaked in phoney counter-culture. It's great though. 🤣
