Greatest band ever

Nirvana is my favorite band but I'll go with Green Day. They kept punk music alive til 2016. Many bands lose their authenticity but Green Day held on to punk.

i must seriously disagree with you. there is nothing punk about green day. they are a hot topic costume band . you might ask me what i know about punk. i will respond that i did that scene since 1979

@DuchessOfMapleSyrup: Well I take this as a lesson from a professional. Green Day's music just didn't evolve into the shitty music of today. They're still the Green Day I've known way back in highschool.

Well the industry label them punk, I respect that. Eventhough MXPX was way more punk than them.
