Eric Clapton? Jimi Hendrix? Mark Knopfler? Or somebody else?

I would have to go with Hendrix but I don't think David Gilmour get the recognition he deserve.

@Paddy42008 you can't go wrong with Jimi, but David is pretty awesome in his own right too. There no wrong answer, is there?

@Paddy42008 I also think David Gilmour should be mentioned in this list and I'm glad you did, David Gilmour is probably the best in the composition of melodious guitar solos and equal to Santana in emotion and effect.
