@NankerPhelge That’s a great song. Who is the woman twice your age you were smitten with? Huh?
Sweet Caroline makes me smile because it reminds me of the Hundai commercial.
Doesn’t it make you smile too?

@SimplyTracie I think you've posted this in the wrong place. It should be a followup comment to mine where I posted the Neil Diamond song. The song doesn't remind me of an older woman I had a crush on myself, I just love the song. I'd never heard of the name Desireé until I saw a character of that name in a TV programme, then the next day I heard the Neil Diamond song for the first time. I was so sure it would be a top 10 hit, I would have put money on it if I'd had enough to spare, but as it happened it only just scraped into the top 40. I will never know why it wasn't a big hit.

@NankerPhelge Songs that I don’t like after hearing it for the first time usually makes it to the Top 10. 🤷♀️

@SimplyTracie Yes, that happens a lot. I hated the song "Obviously" by McFly on first hearing and it got worse and worse with repeated radio plays, yet it got to number one. It was the worst song to chart in 2004 and still one of the worst songs of the 21st century so far.

@NankerPhelge Hahahah 😝
I guess we’re not music connoisseurs.

@SimplyTracie Oh, but we are. That's why we don't appreciate garbage like McFly.

@NankerPhelge I don’t think I have ever heard of that one song.

@SimplyTracie Believe me, you are not missing much. If I never hear it again it'll be three billion years too soon.
