Can anyone recommend some older metal bands for me?

@ImTheOne Dio, Maiden, KISS And Priest I’ve heard all or most of their albums. Most else... not really. I’m not a huge fan of Slayer. Enjoyed their first album but then Hell Awaits completely turned me away from them. I didn’t enjoy it at all it just felt like every song was the same. It’s been a while but it felt like that to me. Poison, Twisted Sister and Scorpions I just know the big hits. Literally everything else is new territory! Thank you!

@ImTheOne I saw them live actually! I like most of their albums. The John Bush era had ups and downs for me and I didn’t care for Joey’s return album ‘Worship Music’ overall though they’re pretty good. Also one of the best bands I’ve see live!

Thank you! I actually hated metal when I was younger. My mom was the classic rock person and my dad was the metal person. I hated when he blared his music 😂 I always liked The Stones, Deep Purple, The Doors etc. Then in 8th grade it changed. My first concert was back in 07. I was 9 and I saw Rush. Amazing concert!!
