Will punk rock become popular again?

@WeighedDown Punk rock is not dead and it won't ever die. Not as long as I'm alive at least.

@WeighedDown True, but that's kinda half the point of punk is to be anti-mainstream. Which is why I hate that "pop punk" is a genre because the entire aim of true punk rock is to be the antithesis of pop.
