If there was any song you love that you love the lyrics but don't like the voice, who would you get to sing it and why?

Say you have heard an artist who you don't particularly care for, or their voice doesn't speak to you, but you love the lyrics, who else would you prefer to sing it? Why so? What makes them better, and is there a band behind them? Would you rather they sing in the band that originally played the song?
