I wholeheartedly disagree. There are some great talents, even now.

Yes...the old ones were good, too. But I refuse to limit myself to the past when there is a beautiful future ahead of me.

A few I saw:
Vladimir Horowitz
Emmy Lou Harris - her hair was long and very dark
Heart - 1976 - before they were widely famous
Eberhard Weber and Colours - my favorite concert
Little Feat
Miles Davis
Keith Jarrett - he was brilliant, but a total jerk
Kronos Quartet - many times, they played world premieres of several works

a lot of music of today seems like garbage. idk ive recently have gotten into alessia cara's music. she seems to be a down to earth person. which seems to be rare in todays music. [media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCUaf-oHveQ]

@SW-UserVery rare, just saying more of the older music has become revered/respected due to it's authenticity. i like some of today's stuff too.

Older music sounds better because we were better when we listened to it.
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
you must be talking corporate music.
JojoBeez · 46-50, M
@sighmeupforthat sure, that too. just saying more of the older music has become revered/respected more due to it's authenticity. problem is, the good music today is hiding underground cause it's not "popular enough" or can only be watched at your pubs during "open mic nights". i still listen to some of today's stuff, just can't get into it
