Not just the song but the video to 'Annabel' by Goldfrapp reminded me so much about when I was a youngster and having a secret place where I would go and dream of being a girl I ended up in floods of tears.

Yes, but usually I noticed it is because the words relate to my state of emotions at that point of time. So if it is crappy music with relatable words, I might cry too.
