Just for fun I sent Joel's grandmother a video of our daughter practicing her solo for next week's concert.

Her response back had me in tears

Oh my goodness. She is amazing. The way she plays you can really tell how much she loves the music. I can't wait for the concert next week, most of the family is coming. We're getting there early to get great seats. I'm bringing my camara.
What are her favorite flowers, I want to give her some after the show. Can we get ice cream after the concert.

Nothing cold or saying she looks wild, unprofessional, nothing about her not wearing shoes, or the way she moves while she plays.



I can't tell you guys how much I needed this today.
