I Like Playing Guitar

I like playing guitar and singing. It's equally big fun for me to sing to the accompaniment of an acoustic guitar and to play some riffs on my electric one. It was my sister who taught me to play the guitar and now I with my friends have kind of a rock band. Of course it's not so serious, it's more a hobby.

I know how you feel. It's so uplifting. Recently I've been trying to improve my playing.

@NodandaWink And now when I can't sing anymore I will express myself with guitar playing

It's good you have more than one musical outlet.

Are you toothless when you sing? One of the first things I did when my teeth were pulled was to learn to speak as clearly as possible with my dentures in and without them. I can talk on the phone without teeth, and people can't tell the difference. I had a friend who liked to hear me on the phone and try to tell whether my teeth were in or out. I love the feeling of my tongue on my gums when I talk without teeth. How about you?

@Corsair Of course for now I'm toothless when I'm sing as I don't have fitting dentures. But in fact I lisp badly (probably because of small gums), and even with my dentures before this my diction became not very clear, so we decided to take the singer into the band instead of me, leaving me on backing vocals) But of course it's okay when I'm singing for friends or maybe alone) I still couldn't learn to speak clearly but actually it's not such a big problem.

Many people find it attractive to hear someone speak or sing while toothless. When I became gummy, I worked hard to be able to speak clearly with and without teeth. I had a friend who liked to hear me talk on the telephone, and she would try to guess whether my teeth were in or out. She also loved to hear it when I took my teeth out with my tongue and made them click together. lol

@Corsair Unfortunately I still can't speak and sing clearly without teeth... But my bf finds my lisping cute and funny. The problem is that because of this I can't be lead singer in my band anymore.

@MrBrownstone Of course, when you are playing you feel so... creative) And also it's the way to express yourself, sometimes better than thousand words
