Thinning the heard, but wanting something new…

I’ve recently thinned out my collection of guitars to these two, but find myself wanting something with Humbuckers again (not counting the 8 string because that is a different beast entirely), maybe even a second Revstar with those instead of P90’s? Thoughts? Very much open to suggestions. I used to really like Ibanez for the super thin necks, but find the Revstar with a slightly thicker C neck and 305mm radius to be better nowadays and maybe I want something with even more heft to ease the hand and wrist tension.

I used to only play Kramer guitars.
I'm not sure if it was because they were so much better or because they weren't as popular as others.
They are still a company but Gibson bought them out a while ago and I see their prices are insane now.

I recently bought a Jackson off Amazon and I really like it.
With most guitars I have bought in the past the first thing I would have to do, right out of the box, was a neck job to lower the action.
But the Jackson came already slammed. The action is great and the pickup's are super hot.

I have also been playing a friend's Schecter.
They are comparable in price to other popular brands but they seem to really play well.
The one I have been playing has active pickups, which normally I avoid just because of the hassle of changing batteries at the worst possible times, but it has a real smooth crunch when distorted.
The action on it is pretty respectable as well.

I was just at his house last night for a jam session with a few other guitar players and the Schecter covered all the bases that I needed. I was playing through a Randel half stack and the only adjustments I was making was with the guitar knobs. We were playing metal, country and blues and the Schecter held up to it's expectations.

I would say that you really can't go wrong with a Jackson.

@MikeHurts I am a bit out of the loop on active pickups these days. 20 years ago I was using EMG’s, then switched to the Dimarzio D Activators…didn’t use much else for a long time, had a few years no guitars, then picked up something with single coils after making a couple with humbuckers and decided I actually like the single coils better in most situations (except for that fuck awful hum), but they felt off, so I moved to P90’s which I also really like…but yeah, thinking a hood set of humbuckers will do the trick. I see nothing but good things about the Fishman Fluence series, think I will just have to play through a few sets and see what I like. Also had a Kramer voyager many years ago, unfortunately I didn’t know what I had and it kinda played like shit tbh (it probably needed a lot of work, I think it was a mid 70’s model). Have played a couple of nice Schecters, and unfortunately the only Jackson guitars I have ever played have basically been entry level and probably were never set up well so I haven’t got much to go on with them (but I do recall they have similarly thin necks like Ibanez? Which is not what I am leaning towards these days)
