I appreciate what Hendrix did for the rock genre. There is much to be said for first on the scene gets remembered.

Brian May, Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen should be in the mix as well.

On the acoustic/folk side, Richard Thompson does things that few people can.🤷🏻‍♂️
