How come Suzette Quintanilla never got the recognition she deserved for being a drummer?
Selena is talented in all and people may hate me for saying this, but I don’t care. I actually preferred Suzette over her. Suzette said it herself that girls don’t play the drums and didn’t want to at first but her dad made her.
Then she became an amazing drummer and it’s so great to see that a female plays the drums! Gives so many girls hope for those who want to be a drummer. In the Selena series my favorite part was when a fan only wanted to see Suzette and thanked her for showing her that girls can play the drums. Finally someone that preferred Suzette over Selena. I like Suzette a lot more and she deserved more recognition. I love how she was so close with her sister though. RIP Selena. 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️💔
