Just starting to learn how to play guitar

Playing a musical instrument is one of the things I wanted to do for a long time.
As a child I used to play flute. But for more than 30 years my ex made hobbies very difficult or impossible. Now I can do things I like again. And even though I am over 50 now, I think it is never to late to start something new.

I tried to take up the piano a decade or two ago, but I just couldn't get both hands to work independently yet together. 😞

@daydeeo That's too bad... Maybe another instrument would be better?
I am struggling to get my fingers in the right positions. And hoping my fingers will stop hurting... But there is some progress

@Tamara68 yes, that's why I quit when I was a kid. Those steel strings were just too much for my tender fingers.
In my 20s and 30s I played trumpet, that was fun. Now I just stick with singing.
