I Can Watch the Same Movie Over and Over

I think after watching the same movie over and over again you eventually learn the script of the movie, right?

Well here is a confession from me...
I have this habitual occurance when I watch one of my favorite movies, I tend to say the line before the actor does. I guess I picked it up from my father. It used to bug us all as kids, how he would say the line before the movie says it. Does anyone else do that or is it a family thing for me? I dont know, but my daughter now does the same thing and says she got it from me. Its a habitual pet peeve and I cannot help it, yet I do it and I dont know how to turn it off.
Honestly, if you were to watch a favorite movie of mine with me, and hadn't seen it before yet I know the whole movie word for word you would seriously get annoyed with me.

I grew up with some of the classics, and can recite an entire movie like The Breakfast Club for example, or Stand By Me. I know those movies word for word, beginning to end, script for script line from line. I can even reiterate the character of the movie. Is that crazy?

Steel Magnolias is another, The Color Purple, Pay It Forward...and The Fighting Sullivans too. Those are just a few of my favorites that I can watch over and over again. The list could go on.

Omg, I have watched the fighting Sullivan's a few times, but it has been more than a few years. What an amazing story! Right now, I have been watching ordinary people, over and over and over. I also tend to get stuck on one song and will play it again and again and again.
The Fighting Sullivans is one great American classic. Glad to hear that someone else knows it. I have seen Ordinary People, but not enough yet to say so.

Try Pride of The Marines with John Garfield and Running Brave with Robby Benson, the latter is currently on youtube.
@therighttothink50 Okay I will try that one. I haven't heard of that movie before I will check it out. Thank You

Haha...this is a funny post!
Remind me to never watch a movie with you and pass the popcorn please.
If you take me to a theater movie I would only want the popcorn, since I won't know the story line I wouldn't have a choice except to sit back enjoy the movie and the popcorn, lol.

I do the same thing with certain TV shows. I know the entire scripts, word for word, of many shows, like M*A*S*H*, the Honeymooners, and some of the older movies.
BOOM ZOOM RIGHT TO THE MOON...[Alice], lol.
I am the same with shows like F°R°I°E°N°D°S too.
I know that show is off the air but I still love them, I've seen every episode, from every season.
One of my favorite classic shows from the days of MASH is All In The Family and The Facts Of Life too.

I love watching the classics.

I am pretty sure I watched the "Little Mermaid" 100 times, just to make my daughter happy.
I did the same with Fern Gully.
