I see you mentioning Thomas Edison down there. If he were alive I`m sure he`d try and steal this too.
@Degbeme I've watched a doc. about the war between Tesla and Edison.

Edison invented the lightbulb but Tesla improved on it making the filament last longer, Also, cheaper to produce and Tesla's was used in a worlds fair.

when Tesla came up with AC current and why it was a break though over DC.

Edison electrocuted a animal with it.
conclusion, both were landmark inventors but Edison had a huge ego problem

@AllycatAD I have heard a few stories about the two of them. Many have said Edison is a thief.

With electricity thank you Thomas Edison
@Monalisasmith86 although he usually gets credit, pays to check facts first.

No, Thomas Edison did not invent electricity, as it is a natural phenomenon that was discovered and studied over centuries by others. Edison is famous for creating the first practical, long-lasting incandescent light bulb (1879) and developing the system to distribute electric power. He made electricity useful for homes, not the electricity itself.

Key Contributions vs. Misconceptions:
What he didn't do: He did not discover electricity, nor was he the first to create an electric light (others existed, but they were not commercially viable).
What he did do: He developed a high-resistance carbon filament bulb that lasted 1,200 hours, making lighting practical.
System Developer: Edison’s true breakthrough was developing the entire electrical distribution system, including generators, wiring, and the first commercial power station in NYC (1882).
DC vs. AC: Edison championed Direct Current (DC), but ultimately, Nikola Tesla’s Alternating Current (AC) became the standard for modern power grids.

The Nikola Tesla inventions that should have made the ...Nikola Tesla was a prolific inventor best known for developing the modern alternating current (AC) electricity system, including generators, transformers, and the polyphase induction motor. He also invented the Tesla coil, radio remote control (teleautomaton), wireless lighting, and neon/fluorescent lamps.

@AllycatAD yes I know but he is the first to create light bulb
@Monalisasmith86 which has nothing to do with the tesla coil 🙄
