This is an old scheme. The more divided people are (in various ways) the more power they get, keep us busy fighting one another and we get distracted by it. It’s not just religions but race, ethnicity, age, etc. So many ways to divide and fragment society.

@FreestyleArt I have read last year that Iran has the biggest percentage of citizens per capita that are converting to Christianity. There are Christians living there, Armenians, and if the Muslims are not the hard-liners then they may have some influence on them. From what I’ve seen here where I live Iranians from all faiths (unless they are fanatics) intermingle and befriend one another and get along well…doesn’t matter if they are Jews, Christians, Sufis, Zoroastrians, Bahais, or moderate Muslims. I’ve sat a table and had a Thanksgiving meal with such a mix. We all got along well and no hostility.
