Was going to watch this, yet somehow spaced it off with everything else going on.

Some of what he says is correct. Yet it's not just top verses bottom only. There is a religious element, even just by what he said.

All Christianity is about control. It's the method of how that is disputed among them.

Please note Steven Colbert is a Catholic. And James Talarico is a presbyterian. There's really a massive division between the two religions.

It's why I say "Organized" religion controls.

Ask why he is running for office, if he really was a believer. His own Jesus of Nazareth would question that by itself.

Public representation belongs to the people by that very quote. Not his god. Even the totality of Presbyterians are not the people.

@DrWatson Yes. I saw parts of the show and wondered what the fuss was about, so I got curious. I found the Texans attitude refreshing and at odds with a lot of US Christianity.😷

@Gusman If I had the answer I would write the book and declare someone else Emperor. (I dont want the job) Power isnt given. Its taken. The best suggestion I have is to become a chess player (metaphor) Learn how the game is played and use the rules to your advantage where you can. Thats what I do..😷
