I remember I got the belt whooping when they found out I was sneaking at night back in my childhood.

There was a 14-year old girl that lived in rural Kingfisher county who would sneak out at night through her bedroom windows after her parents slept. She’d get on the road and someone would give her a ride to meth parties. She was found dead and murdered at the age of 14. I knew some people who were related to another meth addict and they told me about her sneaking out at night. Maybe your parents whooped your butt in order to save your life.

I got beatings by my father when I was a child and it hurt. But they didn’t hurt me nearly as bad as when I witnessed him beating my mother. I got hysterical over that.
