Why is it that when people get success in one field they think it gives them power to do something different only expressing their somewhat extreme viewpoint with nothing to support it whatsoever ?

I will say that this is an advantage the Left will always have over the Right. Because we're against bigotry, it's easier for us to have international alliances. We stand with the workers in all countries. Whereas the Right, with their constant religious bigotry, has a much harder time building bridges with their fellow Fascists.
