One side fearmongers and says we need to eliminate fossil fuels but wants to replace them with nothing, because they're against nuclear energy and their only argument for that is "But but muh Chernobyl." The other side only wants fossil fuels because of the fact that the other side whines about how much they hate nuclear energy and doesn't wanna replace fossil fuels with nuclear energy. Hey, idiots on both sides of this issue: it's either fossil fuels or nuclear energy, your choice. You can't have neither of them, because over night without fossil fuels or anything to replace them with, the first ones to go will be all the diabetics. They'd all be dead over night because of no means to keep their insulin cold, and also we'd all either die of heat strokes in the summer or freeze to death in the winter. You either have one or the other, and you can't just have neither of them. It doesn't work that way.
