David Foster Wallace - The Problem With Irony

One of my main books at the moment is Infinite Jest, and there are a plethora of videos to help me appreciate it more, and this video here sticks out, the point here makes a lot of sense, and the quote below was supplied by a YouTube comment that also hammers in the point, of a facet of the modern malaise is that there is such a saturation of cynicism and so on, that it makes me think again and anew on one of my hitherto favorite isms.
