Half the statements are wrong anyway.
You got to have money to run a jeep now.
Maybe in the 50s they weren't so expensive. All of what they showed I've done in a Chevy 4wd.
Heck some of it in a Chevy prism front wheel drive. 🤣 Yeah I did get stuck a couple of times in the prism. 🫤
It wasn't built for ruts on muddy dirt roads.
Which made me get two different Chevy 4wds. I never got stuck in a Chevy 4wd. Try to put a 2 ton roll-off in that jeep! 😈

@DeWayfarer We've gotten into some pretty crazy places in my Subaru Crosstrek and never been stuck. 👍

@sarabee1995 That's pretty lite though. I really did need the weight traction for pulling heavy stuff like that roll-off.
Anything lite you'll just be spinning wheels. Roll-offs have metal rollers. Not proper wheels.

@DeWayfarer On I didn't mean to suggest a Crosstrek for you or anyone else. I was just jumping in and agreeing that Jeeps aren't the only 4wd/AWD vehicles that get it done. 🙂
