I Love a Good Tv Series

I had seen the Walking Dead, which I thought was great, awesome zombie series. No doubt. But then I discovered this French serie, called "Les Revenants" and I just loved it! The story starts in a small mountain vilage, several local people who are presumed dead suddenly re-appear at their homes, in search for their loved ones, they don't remember anything what happened to them...
It's way less gory, violent and bloody then The Walking Dead, it got a totally different approach.
The combination of suspense, supernatural/ surrealistic elements, and touching personal stories really got to me. It was thrilling and haunting. The emotions were pure, yet subtle. The locations were just breathtaking. It really brought me to tears. What a beauty! :)
