Shows and movies are getting so dark and creepy these says

Movies and shows now are so dark creepy and scary, nothing lighthearted anymore. Maybe its because in the early 2000 when i grew up i only watched kids shows but this makes me want to go back to only watching kids shows because now everything is like severance or upload or pluribus is very creepy too. It gets me intrigued and then i have nightmares.
