My Brilliant Friend

3 seasons of 8 episodes each as of 2022, so i'm not sure if there's more to come, but it's based on Elena Ferrante's widely acclaimed Neapolitan Novels, which i have and am enthusiastic about whenever i can manage to just have one book demand all my attention. This HBO series should be able to make me be more excited about reading it, and perhaps coming back to this series if there is more and even if all there is is 3 seasons, to re-watch and know this world of Italy and the characters much better. My dear friend Alice knows and loves her favorite material in that sort of way, to truly appreciate a film or show is a very welcome idea for me.

Season 1

1 - Le Bambole (The Dolls) -- 56m -- so this is based on the first novel, i wonder if the next 2 seasons are still on that one, or if the rest of the book series is covered further, or if there's a continuation made without the HBO logo attached to it.
