My parents used to watch this.
Cornfield county, the All Jug Band,.
"Hey Grandpa, what's for dinner!?!"
What most people don't remember is at the end of it's run they ditched all the corny country sets and redid the show like it was shot inside a mall or something.
The thinking was it was the 80s now and country music had a whole new young generation of performers and fans and they wanted to reflect that.
But all it did was alienate the audience.
Not really my thing but Roy Clark was an incredible musician.

Not just an incredible musician, but singer, songwriter, storyteller and comedian. He was another Andy Griffith.

They had another one based on Hee Haw, but for city folks! It was called Laugh -In.
