Making a Murderer

I finished Making a Murderer yesterday, both seasons, and I'm just… appalled and heartbroken over this story. I just cannot comprehend a world that allowed this to happen. I’m curious if others here have watched it and what your opinions are on it.

I remember watching the first episode when it first came out, not expecting much.

Before I knew it, the entire day had disappeared. It was totally enthralling.

At the time I remember feeling totally enraged due to the injustice. I read some stuff since that Netflix were a little selective with what evidence they presented, and now I’m not certain. I should probably read up on it more, as that was a few years ago.

@OctoberEyes I'd definitely recommend watching the videos that were suggested me in this thread, they were enlightening!

@SwiftieShutterbug Will do! I’d prefer not feeling there was some ugly miscarriage of justice and instead just misreporting, though what they did with that younger lad (Brendan?) was not good from any perspective.

@OctoberEyes Yes, Brendan Dassey's case is especially heartbreaking. That confession, coerced or not, was difficult to watch. It's a stark reminder of how vulnerable some people can be within the criminal justice system.
